The Red Cloud team has a mix of technical and financial expertise with over 150+ cumulative years of combined mining and corporate finance experience. Working as an extension of management, the Red Cloud team uses its global network of mining and capital markets professionals and extensive in-house experience in the many facets of the mining business to help companies identify sources of capital and quality actionable merger, acquisition and divestiture opportunities, and to generate and maintain important relationships with key investors.

Job Overview
 
The role is responsible for the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for our mining company clients (“issuers”), including corporate roadshows across North America and Europe. Marketing initiatives are likely to also include but are not limited to, social media oversight and strategy, client events, and the facilitation of client and corporate interaction. The role requires the individual to liaise with colleagues in Sales and Investment Banking as well as coordinate with our issuer clients and external business partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

•    Develop and maintain marketing plans for Red Cloud issuers for both deal and non-deal roadshows, along with alternative marketing plans; this includes strategy development, planning, and execution of the marketing
•    Responsible for external communication with issuers in organizing logistical and administrative needs to complement internal communications with the sales team, particularly during roadshows
•    Compile marketing feedback for clients, to be reported internally and externally in a timely manner
•    Develop marketing proposals for potential clients that includes both traditional and non-traditional marketing initiatives
•    Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders on ongoing issuers on market related activities, suggested marketing initiatives, upcoming conferences and corporate events
•    Manage global vendor relationships with restaurants, caterers, limo services and other third party services providers to ensure consistent quality in a cost-effective manner
•    Maintain centralized database of all marketing documentation for marketing/sales team
•    Manage database of retail investors and corporate accounts
•    Provide support for major Red Cloud events, including but not limited to conferences

Qualifications

•    Illustrated excellence in planning and execution
•    Working experience in marketing/investor relations/corporate access a positive
•    Experience using social media for digital marketing considered a positive
•    Strong communicator, independent, proactive and strong client servicing skills
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Good PC Skills and experience with Microsoft Office
•    Minimum Undergraduate Degree is preferred

•    Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must have a valid work permit or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role
•    Open concept environment with exposure to noise and distractions
•    Fast-paced environment
•    During peak periods such as multiple consecutive roadshows, required to work outside normal business hours
